A ceremony honouring revolution contributors was held in Hanoi, on July 23 in the lead-up to the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - 2024), in the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Co-organised by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Public Security, Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, Vietnam Television, and the Hanoi municipal People’s Committee, the event was attended by former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh, and representatives of leaders of ministries, departments, branches and central agencies.

The event also gathered more than 400 veterans and families of fallen heroes.
