As one of the photojournalists who worked during the 12 days and nights of fierce fighting against B-52 strategic bombers of the US in Hanoi in December 1972, photographer Chu Chi Thanh captured unforgettable moments about the capital city engulfed in smoke and fire but also affection.  Celebrating the 50th anniversary of this historic event, Nhan Dan Newspaper would like to introduce the special photo series under the consent of the author.
