The closing ceremony of the second Thang Long-Ha Noi Festival 2026 took place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in Ha Noi on the evening of September 20, bringing to an end a series of events held from September 11 to 20, featuring more than 16 cultural and artistic activities and attracting over 3,000 artists, performers and artisans.

The closing ceremony is attended by domestic and international delegates and a large audience.

The Festival's closing ceremony not only brings a journey to an end, but also opens up a continuing flow, where values passed down through generations continue to be preserved, creatively developed and spread in contemporary life.

From Ha Noi – where Vietnamese cultural values converge and spread – each performance is a colour and an emotional note, all looking towards a new journey: preserving cultural identity, inspiring creativity and bringing Vietnamese culture reaching further.

The artists taking part in the programme attract a large number of young audience members.

Through the lens of contemporary art, traditional values is given a new, youthful and vibrant appearance.

The identity of Thang Long-Ha Noi is passed down and carried forward through generations.

From distinctive cultural features, the flow of heritage continues to spread through youthful, modern life and a spirit of integration.

The artists give their all on the stage at the closing ceremony.

The event portrays a dynamic and open Ha Noi, ready to connect with and welcome international friends.

The Festival may have come to an end, but the “Heritage Flow” continues – from values passed down over thousands of years, preserved in the present and continuing to spread through the creativity of today's generations towards the future.

The spectacular artistic programme brings the series of events of the second Thang Long-Ha Noi Festival 2026 to a close.
