An annual press conference marking the beginning of the lunar new year was held at Nhan Dan Newspaper headquarters in Ha Noi on February 24.

Attending the conference were members of the Party Central Committee: Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilisation, and Chairman of the Viet Nam Journalists Association; Duong Trung Y, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Review; and Nguyen Thanh Lam, Director-General of Viet Nam Television. Also present were Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilisation; Vu Viet Trang, Director-General of the Viet Nam News Agency; and Ho An Phong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
