In Pictures: Warm National Day at nation’s northernmost frontier

In the border communes of Tuyen Quang Province, this year’s National Day was warmer as each resident was given gifts from the Party and state. These gifts were not only an encouragement but also a source of motivation for people to hold attachment to their homeland, to live in peace of mind, and to work on the northernmost frontier of the nation.

Giang Mi Mua, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lung Cu Commune, said that to implement the plan for presenting National Day gifts, the commune made household lists and established working groups to directly deliver gifts in each hamlet. Thanks to this, people did not have to travel far, especially the elderly and children.
