The delegation was led by Bounvixay Kongpaly, Member of the Standing Committee of the Houaphanh Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Administration Committee. The flower-laying ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere, expressing profound respect for President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of the Vietnamese nation. At the same time, the activity demonstrated the special solidarity and friendship between Viet Nam and Laos.
At the Park of the Statue of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegates respectfully laid flowers and observed a moment of silence in remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh’s great contributions to the cause of Viet Nam’s national liberation and his important role in nurturing the traditional friendship and solidarity between Viet Nam and Laos.
The visit and the flower-laying activity at the Park of the Statue of President Ho Chi Minh continued to affirm the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. It also provided an opportunity to enhance exchanges and mutual understanding, contributing to the promotion of more practical and effective cooperation in the time ahead.
The working visit of the Houaphanh Province delegation in Ho Chi Minh City is taking place, as planned, from December 16 to December 20, 2025. The trip aims to strengthen exchanges and the sharing of experience in governance, socio-economic development, government building, and human resource training to serve local development in the coming period.
