In a cordial atmosphere, Ambassador Somphone Sichaleune extended his warmest congratulations to the Party, State and people of Viet Nam, as well as all officials and staff of the Embassy of Viet Nam in China.
Ambassador Somphone Sichaleune spoke highly of Viet Nam's great achievements in national construction and development, as well as its increasingly important role and position in the region and on the international arena. He said these achievements not only demonstrated Viet Nam's strong development but were also a source of shared joy for Lao friends and comrades.
Emphasising the tradition of special solidarity between the two peoples, Ambassador Somphone Sichaleune affirmed that the Party, State and people of Laos always remember and deeply cherish Viet Nam's valuable support and assistance during the struggle for national independence and the construction and development of Laos. He affirmed that the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation and strategic cohesion between Viet Nam and Laos are invaluable common assets that must continue to be preserved and nurtured.
Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh expressed his sincere thanks to Ambassador Somphone Sichaleune and the Lao Embassy delegation for their visit and warm wishes on the occasion of Viet Nam's 81st National Day, which also coincided with the 81st anniversary of the establishment of Viet Nam's diplomatic sector (August 28, 1945 - 2026), bringing “double joy” to officials and staff of the Embassy of Viet Nam in China.
Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh expressed his delight at the increasingly extensive, substantive and effective development of Viet Nam-Laos relations across various fields. He affirmed that the Party and State of Viet Nam always highly value the sentiments, support and valuable assistance extended by the Party, State and people of Laos, as well as the close, steadfast and pure bonds between the two Parties, the two States and the peoples of the two countries.
The two Ambassadors agreed to continue strengthening information exchanges, coordination and mutual support in the work of the two Embassies, thereby contributing to further nurturing the increasingly strong, substantive and effective Viet Nam-Laos relations.
