- On the Tri Thien front, along Route 12, Infantry Regiment 6 of the main force of the military region attacked and eliminated enemy forces at Chuc Mao and Height 300. They then used artillery fire to strike La Son and Khong Ten Hill, creating pressure on Dong Tranh and Binh Dien, further tightening the siege on Hue City from the west. The elimination of Chuc Mao and Height 300 further disoriented the enemy, enabling our Vietnamese commanders to assess the situation more clearly and anticipate the enemy's potential large-scale retreat.

- In Thua Thien-Hue, from March 13 onward, the enemy heavily bombarded the area with artillery and airstrikes while launching continuous infantry counterattacks on Heights 224 and 273.

- On the Vinh Tra battlefield (Military Region 9) at 1:00 PM on March 13, the enemy deployed Battalion 3 of Regiment 11, along with remnants of Security Battalion 467, to reinforce the strategic Thay Pho area. Regiment 3 launched a long-range ambush, surrounding and destroying the enemy's main force battalion. After three consecutive days of fierce combat, Regiments 1 and 3 successfully eliminated the enemy's sub-district outposts, including Thuan Thoi (Cong Da) and the Cau Sat garrison.
