He emphasised that Hung Yen Province needs to continue to innovate its growth model, take digital transformation as a breakthrough for development, and focus resources on promoting the development of infrastructure, industrial zones and services.
It was also asked to boost the removal of difficulties for key projects, particularly traffic projects, in addition to improving the business and investment environment and attracting high-tech and green projects.
The minister also urged the province to accelerate the disbursement of public investment, enhance labour productivity and have policies to attract talent.
Standing Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Le Huy, said that the province recorded 783 million USD worth of export revenue in the first two months of this year, a 6% year-on-year increase and total retail sales of over 5.5 trillion VND (223.1 million USD), a year-on-year rise of 16%.
The province also disbursed over 665.7 billion VND (27 million USD) in the first two months of this year, reaching 3.3% of the plan set by the Government.
At the working session, the Government working group discussed and answered several recommendations from Hung Yen Province, in addition to outlining several solutions to foster the province’s potential and advantages for further development in the future.
