Ministry of Public Security receives Prime Minister's Letter of Commendation

The Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony in Hanoi on November 24 to receive the Prime Minister's Letter of Commendation and award prizes to groups with outstanding achievements in preventing and fighting drug-related crimes.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang presented the PM’s Letter of Commendation to the public security force.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy PM Tran Luu Quang appreciated and congratulated the public security soldiers for their glorious feats of arms, contributing to ensuring security and order and protecting the peaceful life and happiness of the people.

He stressed that under the close leadership and direction of the Party and State, as well as the participation of all Party committees, authorities and socio-economic organisations at all levels, the consensus of people from all walks of life and the support from international friends, the public security forces have gained many outstanding results, notably drug crime investigation force.

The Deputy PM stressed that their efforts have gradually prevented the "supply" of drugs early and from afar and limited the consequences and harmful effects of drug evils and crime, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety and effectively serving the country's socio-economic development tasks.

Especially, Deputy PM Tran Luu Quang acknowledged and shared with the public security force the hardships, difficulties and dangers they faced.
