The second phase of Dabaco vegetable oil plant project at Tan Chi Industrial Cluster (Tan Chi Commune, Bac Ninh Province) was launched in January 2024 with a total investment of 1.8 trillion VND, bringing the combined investment of both phases to over 3 trillion VND. The plant has a processing capacity of 1,000 tonnes of seeds per day, double that of the first phase, raising the total capacity to 1,500 tonnes per day.
Notably, the plant pioneers the application of “Zero Influence” extraction technology and Nano refining technology, among the most advanced technologies from Desmet, helping optimise product quality while remaining environmentally friendly.
Once operating at full capacity, the plant is expected to produce more than 100 million litres of refined cooking oil annually, along with 400,000 tonnes of soybean meal and 5,500 tonnes of lecithin. These are important raw materials for feed mills, contributing to reducing import dependence, ensuring supply and improving domestic product quality.
At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Phung Duc Tien and Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Dao Quang Khai acknowledged and commended Dabaco Viet Nam Group’s efforts in completing a closed-loop agricultural value chain. The operation of the plant affirms the company’s position and creates momentum for the development of Bac Ninh’s processing industry.
He urged Dabaco Viet Nam Group to ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently, while focusing on developing a high-quality workforce capable of mastering advanced technologies.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee awarded the title of “Outstanding Labour Collective 2025” to two collectives and certificates of merit to five individuals from Dabaco Viet Nam Group.
