Under the strategy, blockchain is defined as one of the leading technology trends of the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0).
The application and development of Blockchain technology will contribute significantly to building advanced digital infrastructure, ensuring data reliability and security, and creating a foundation for developing the digital technology industry.
The strategy targets that by 2030, Vietnam will have 20 reputable blockchain brands in terms of platforms, products, and services on blockchain technology platforms in the region.
Meanwhile, the country will maintain at least three blockchain technology testing centres/zones in major cities to form a national blockchain network. Vietnam also expects to have representatives in the top 10 blockchain training and research institutions in Asia.
To realise these set targets, the Government highlights several tasks, focusing on building and perfecting the legal framework, developing blockchain infrastructure and ecosystem, enhancing human resources, accelerating the application of blockchain technology, and fostering international cooperation in this field.
