According to organisers, the tournament attracted many national athletes and strong teams from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Soc Trang, Ninh Binh, and Dong Thap, ensuring a high level of professional quality.
The athletes compete for 25 sets of medals in three categories of kata, individual, and team events.
The tournament aims to provide an opportunity for participating athletes to show off their practice and skills, thus contributing to the development of judo in Vietnam.
Co-hosted by the Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Sports and Physical Training, and the Vietnam Judo Federation, the event will run until April 4.
