[In Pictures] 11th Ha Noi Sports Festival opens

The 11th Ha Noi Sports Festival was solemnly opened at the My Dinh Indoor Athletics Arena in Ha Noi, on December 15. The festival is one of the activities celebrating the success of Party congresses at all levels and the 18th Congress of the Ha Noi Party Organisation, in the lead-up to the 14th National Party Congress.

The festival features 25 sports, marking the edition with the largest number of events to date, with nearly 8,000 eligible athletes. Competing with full commitment, athletes demonstrated the spirit of “Sportsmanship through solidarity, fairness, and nobility”, showcasing their talents to achieve the best possible results.

Beyond being a platform for training and competition, the festival is also a celebration of sporting spirit, solidarity, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle within the community.

This was followed by a parade procession. After the contingent carrying the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh and the Red Flag procession came delegations representing various emulation blocs, including the Ha Noi Capital Command, Ha Noi Police, Youth, Farmers, the Women’s Union, and outstanding athlete teams.
