Themed “A Journey of Dreams and Magical Discoveries”, the programme is organised to mark the 72nd anniversary of Ha Noi’s Liberation Day (October 10) and aims to create a cultural space for children and their families.

The event is scheduled for 4:00 PM on October 10, 2026, at the National Convention Centre in Tu Liem Ward, Ha Noi, and is open to children and families across the capital city.

With children at its heart, the programme weaves together music, performing arts, and interactive elements into a cohesive narrative. It encourages children to explore the world, appreciate the values of family and homeland, and find the motivation to study and grow as they pursue their dreams.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Que Dinh Nguyen, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, emphasised: “We have been nurturing this programme for about two years. In recent times, Nhan Dan has continuously strived for innovation and creativity, enhancing the quality of its publications to better serve its readership. Furthermore, the newspaper has successfully organised numerous high-quality, iconic, and highly acclaimed artistic programmes”.

These programmes not only bridge the gap between art and daily life but also demonstrate the Party newspaper’s commitment to creating meaningful cultural spaces, spreading patriotism and national pride, and fulfilling its political mission—actively promoting and implementing the Party’s resolution on Vietnamese cultural development and the State’s major policies, he noted.

The Deputy Editor-in-Chief affirmed that creating such a unique artistic space reflects the care and responsibility of a key Party media outlet. It demonstrates a commitment to joining hands with society to care for children, bring them joy, and enrich their spiritual lives beyond their rigorous school hours.

On a deeper level, this initiative offers Nhan Dan an opportunity to cultivate its future readership, foster a love for reading, and encourage children to ask questions and explore the world from an early age. This contributes to broadening their knowledge and shaping their character, while helping them grow and forge a stronger bond with the Party newspaper’s publications and platforms.

It is expected that the joy derived from the stage performance will help spark aspirations, dreams, a thirst for knowledge, and a proactive interest in the world around them among children. In doing so, Nhan Dan aims to foster love for their peers, schools, and society, and—on a broader scale—cultivate a deep love and pride for their country and homeland

This initiative is set to become a long-running programme organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper, he added.

Before the show begins, young audience members can arrive early to participate in the “Childhood Journey” experiential activities in the lobby of the National Convention Centre. From 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, children can explore three interactive stations: the Nhan Dan Newspaper Reading Station, featuring games, prize-winning quizzes, and a Young Pioneer scarf-tying challenge; the “Magical Forest Garden” offering a photo zone inspired by nature and fairy tales; and the “Wings-Giving Station”, where children can write down their wishes, fold paper airplanes, and join activities at partner booths. Children will take their paper airplanes into the auditorium to contribute to the grand “take-off” scene at the end of the show.

The programme will be livestreamed on Nhan Dan Newspaper’s social media platforms, bringing it to a wide audience and families across the country.
