The project is being funded by Nam Duoc JSC, thanks to the mobilisation efforts of Nhan Dan Newspaper.
The bridge will span 22 metres in length and 2 metres in width, built with reinforced concrete. Once completed, it will serve nearly 400 households in Hamlet 13 and surrounding hamlets across various communes in the rural district of Thanh Tri, where a large proportion of the population are from ethnic minority groups.
The project is expected to be completed within 30 days.
According to Quach Moc Quan, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Chau Hung Commune, amid ongoing challenges related to transport infrastructure in the area, the timely and meaningful support from Nam Duoc JSC is a valuable gift, reflecting compassion and a commitment to community service.
The completed bridge is expected to significantly improve travel and transportation for residents of Hamlet 13 in particular and Chau Hung Commune as a whole, thereby contributing to the gradual completion of the local transport infrastructure network.
On behalf of Nam Duoc JSC, Vo Thanh Huu Danh, the Director of the company’s Mekong Delta branch, shared that over the years, the company has consistently worked alongside the local authorities and Nhan Dan Newspaper in carrying out social initiatives aimed at supporting underprivileged communities, including those from ethnic minority groups.
