Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan made the remarks while chairing the first meeting of the Organising Committee for the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress at the Presidential Palace in Ha Noi on June 3.

During the session, delegates were informed about the official decision to establish the organising committee and were briefed on the Party Secretariat’s guidance and the draft plan for organising the congress.

Vice President Xuan, who is also First Vice Chair of the Central Council for Emulation and Rewards and head of the organising committee, stressed the congress’s importance in reviewing emulation movements and commendation work for the 2021–2025 period, while setting goals and directions for the 2026–2030 period. She underscored the high expectations for this congress in summarising a period marked by significant political tasks and notable achievements.

Regarding delegate allocation, Xuan urged for a practical and balanced approach in terms of number, profession, region, age, gender, and representation of ethnic minorities, religious groups, overseas Vietnamese, and foreigners contributing to Viet Nam’s development.

She called on committee members to remain proactive, flexible, and responsive to emerging issues, ensuring tasks are completed in an efficient manner.
