Pham Van Mach triumphs at Asian bodybuilding event

Nhan Dan Online - Top Vietnamese bodybuilder Pham Van Mach took the Men's 55kg crown at the 47th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Championships yesterday after impressing the examination board with a perfect performance.

This is the eighth time in a row Mach has won the continental title, surpassing the previous record of seven consecutive Asian gold medals set by veteran bodybuilder Ly Duc.

Mach's teammates brought home four additional gold medals: Le Anh Thong in the Men's 60kg, Nguyen Van My (60kg) and Pham Duc Dai (70kg) in the Men's Youth category and Tran Thi Cam Tu in the Women's Fitness Physique.

The annual tournament is underway in Ho Chi Minh City, running from August 30 to September 1, with the participation of over 350 bodybuilders from 27 Asian countries and territories. 20 representatives from Vietnam are competing.
