The delivery of the scholarship is part of a study encouragement programme, which has been organised annually since 2007.

To date, the programme has granted more than 5,000 scholarships, worth roughly 28 billion VND, to disadvantaged students across the country.

Themed ‘Giving wings to students’ dreams for a sustainable future’, this year’s programme also featured training courses and research projects for students, as well as a series of green activities.

At the ceremony, the organising board also handed over an additional 100 scholarships, worth 15 million each, to students from first-year to third-year at public universities, who are majoring in science and technology, accounting, business administration, marketing, economics, design, environment and medicine.
