The conference was organised to evaluate the process of implementing the 13th National Party Congress resolution on culture and the conclusions of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, at the National Cultural Conference in 2021, towards the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (1975-2025).
At the same time, the presentations and opinions at the conference aimed to clearly point out the advantages, opportunities, difficulties, solutions, and proposals for continuing to comprehensively promote the work of innovation, building, developing the country and protecting the Fatherland in the new period.

Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor Dr Pham Van Linh emphasised, that over the past 50 years, under the Party's leadership, the efforts of the entire political system, and the support and response of the people, the country has accomplished many great achievements in building and developing Vietnamese culture and people. Cultural awareness is becoming more comprehensive and profound.
However, culture is still not deeply understood by all levels and sectors and has not received adequate attention.
Speaking at the Conference, Dr Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, said that the Hanoi Party Committee always values and identifies culture as the foundation and key task in its guidelines and policies for cultural and human development.
Through the conference, Nguyen Van Phong hopes that the conference will provide more important arguments for the Hanoi Party Committee to research and develop documents of the 18th Congress of the Party Committee of the Capital City of Hanoi, in the near future.
