The 16th provincial Party Congress opened on September 28 with the participation of 400 delegates representing over 94,000 Party members from 79 Party organisations under the provincial Party Organisation.
The Congress elected a 54-member provincial Party Committee for the new term. At its first meeting, the provincial Party Committee elected a 14-member Standing Board with Khanh re-elected as Secretary of the provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure.
Lo Minh Hung, Nguyen Dinh Viet and Cha A Cua were elected as Vice Secretaries of the provincial Party Committee.
