The centre falls under the management of the Judicial Academy and has been set up as part of a project entitled ‘Developing International Trade Lawyers Lawyers serving international integration in the 2010- 2020 period’, which was approved by the Prime Minister in 2010 to raise the capacity of Vietnamese lawyers in handling international commercial disputes.

The centre will work with lawyer training facilities in developed countries in order to provide learners with legal knowledge and qualifications related to international trade.

They will also receive training on raising their capacity in using English to address legal and commercial issues.
