The 10 young faces were selected from 137 candidates in 10 categories of Study, Scientific research – Innovation, Labour and production, Startup-business, National Defence, Security, Sports, Culture-arts, Social activities, and State administrative management.
The 10 faces of the famed award are Apprentice Professor, Dr. Dinh Ngoc Thanh in the category of Scientific research-Innovation, Nguyen Khanh Linh in the category of Study, Truong The Dieu in the category of Labour and production, Vo Minh Lam in the category of Culture-arts, Nguyen Thi Oanh in the category of Sports, Major Tran Van Phuong in the category of National Defence, Captain Ngo Anh Tuan in the category of Security, Le Anh Tien in the category of Startup-business, Le Anh Tuan in the category of Social activities, and Hoang Hoa Trung in the category of Social activities.
In addition, a list of 10 Promising Young Faces in 2019 was also selected from the 137 candidates.
‘Ten Outstanding Vietnamese Young Faces’ is an annual award organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee to mark the founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.
The award aims to honour outstanding Vietnamese youths under 35 years old who have made excellent achievements or contributions to the community.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on March 26 on the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.
