More than 80 children with cleft lips, palates and facial deformities from Nam Dinh, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh, Hai Phong and others were present at E Hospital on the morning of May 6 to get examinations and advice from doctors of E Hospital.

This is the seventh time the charity programme has been held at E Hospital, which is expected to bring surgery opportunities for many people with facial deformities living in difficult circumstances.

According to the Board of Directors of E Hospital, patients will enjoy free-of-charge surgeries, post-surgery care, accommodation and food during their treatment at E Hospital.

More than 60 patients are expected to receive surgeries in the next two to three weeks.

Dr Nguyen Hong Nhung said E Hospital doctors will always accompany patients throughout the comprehensive treatment process.

In particular, as children undergo surgeries and grow up, they will receive dental and phonetic treatment to give them a clear voice, helping them integrate into society.

“Successful surgeries will help children escape difficulties in eating and daily activities, bringing confidence and healing physical and mental injuries to the children,” Doctor Nhung noted.
