They can also join authors in discussions about their books, and learn about the art of calligraphy.
Meanwhile, children can try their hands at making traditional toys, witness folk paintings, and enjoy performances of both traditional and modern singing and dancing.
According to Vice Chairman of the Hoan Kiem People’s Committee Nguyen Quoc Hoan, the event has become a cultural activity and an attractive destination in the capital city whenever Tet arrives. It also marks the start of reading encouragement activities in Hanoi city this year.
The programme, hosted by the People’s Committee of Hoan Kiem district, is open from 8am to 10pm every day until February 14 on the Hanoi Book Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
