This project is a meaningful activity to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Southern Liberation and the National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025). It also aims to promote historical and cultural sites nationwide, contributing to the development of Vietnam's tourism industry.
In Dak Nong, the project has been implemented at three locations: Ta Dung Tourist Site in Dak Som Commune, Dak Glong District; N’Trang Long Monument; and the Cultural and Cinema Centre of the province, located in Nghia Duc Ward, Gia Nghia City.
The chip-embedded boards are designed in two colours, yellow and red, inspired by the Vietnamese national flag. They can operate automatically without a power source. At these locations, visitors can use their smartphones to interact with the NFC chip-embedded boards, receive a check-in certification, store personal images, and access useful information about the historical site, relic, or destination.

Visitors are excited to experience this new technology with the NFC chip-embedded check-in boards. |
Each board provides stories, images, videos, or 3D models of the location where it is installed. It also offers search features, navigation, and detailed information to help visitors explore tourist attractions both at their current location and in nearby areas. Once visitors have completed check-ins at all NFC-enabled sites within a locality, they will receive program rewards and a digital certification of their exploration.
Tran Minh Tuan, Project Manager of "Love Vietnam so much" at Phygital Labs Joint Stock Company, stated that the project will develop new challenge-based games in the near future so visitors can check in and optimise features to better serve tourism. These features will include guidance, support for redirecting visitors to other locations when a site becomes overcrowded, and notifications about important local events.
Additionally, the project will standardise its content for translation into multiple languages, contributing to the international promotion of Vietnamese tourism.
According to representatives from Nhan Dan Newspaper, the project aims to promote historical and cultural landmarks across the country, create unique exploration experiences for tourists, and support tourism connectivity between localities and the entire nation.
In Dak Nong, the "Love Vietnam So Much" project has installed NFC chip-embedded boards at two locations in Nghia Duc Ward, Gia Nghia City, and one location at Ta Dung Tourist Site in Dak Glong District.
Dak Nong is a province with significant potential and advantages, blessed by nature with majestic waterfalls, vast green forests, and a rapidly developing high-tech agriculture sector. The province also has a rich revolutionary history with famous historical sites and diverse indigenous cultural identities, creating favourable conditions for sustainable tourism development.
At the 12th Provincial Party Congress, Dak Nong identified three economic pillars: developing the bauxite-alumina-aluminium industry, renewable energy, and processing industries; promoting high-tech, sustainable agriculture based on value chains; and leveraging tourism potential for development.
In recent years, the province has been consistently introducing policies to attract investment in tourism development, while the tourism sector has been systematically planning and connecting with other provinces and the entire country. The introduction of NFC chip-embedded boards is one of the tools to support the province’s digital transformation strategy, combining official information and data with technology and creative ideas to effectively and vividly promote historical and cultural events as well as local tourism products to domestic and international visitors.
