The forum was attended by members of the Central Party Committee, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat and Secretary of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee Le Quoc Phong.
The plenary session was attended by 400 domestic and foreign delegates. Delegates proposed existing or potential innovative models and solutions to develop green agriculture and agricultural and aquatic product processing in the direction of a green economy in the Mekong Delta.
At the same time, delegates made proposals and recommendations on mechanisms, policies, resources, etc., to relevant parties to promote the implementation of initiatives, models, and innovative solutions in the green agriculture sector in the region.
The forum also launched the Mekong Green Transformation Network. This network promotes sustainable solutions, environmental protection, and economic development in the Mekong Delta region.
