The year 2026 marks an important milestone as, for the first time, Viet Nam officially organises the All People’s Health Day (April 7), in order to concretise the spirit of Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW (dated September 9, 2025) of the Politburo on breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care, and improvement of the people’s health, along with other important documents.

Promoting healthy lifestyles and strengthening preventive healthcare were placed at the forefront of discussions marking the first All People’s Health Day, as Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh underscored the shared responsibility of individuals and society in safeguarding public health.

The Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, organised a meeting in Hanoi on April 5 to launch All People’s Health Day (April 7) under the theme of proactive disease prevention for a healthy Viet Nam.
