Viet Nam, Brazil seek stronger Party, bilateral ties

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ngo Le Van on September 1 received Pedro Oliveira, member of the international relations commission of the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB) and Secretary-General of the Brazil–Viet Nam Friendship Association, who is in Ha Noi to attend celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of Viet Nam's August Revolution and National Day.

Sharing aspiration for prosperity

Brazil lies halfway around the globe from Viet Nam. A direct flight from Ha Noi to Rio de Janeiro takes 25 hours, including a technical stop en route. Yet the fatigue of such a long journey seemed to dissipate as Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse, and the high-level Vietnamese delegation were welcomed with warmth, sincerity, and great respect by their Brazilian hosts.
