Boosting exports in the final months of the year

Since the beginning of the year, Viet Nam’s export turnover has grown remarkably, with significant contributions from localities in the Red River Delta region. Along with the country’s overall success, provinces in the region are implementing multiple solutions to meet and exceed the national export growth target for 2025.

Agricultural exports aim for 70 billion USD

In the first six months of 2025, the bright spot of the entire agricultural sector was the export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products reaching 33.84 billion USD, up 15.5%; the trade surplus value was 9.83 billion USD, up 16.5% over the same period in 2024. This year, the agricultural sector strives to achieve the target of 70 billion USD, the highest ever.

Model helps boost Vietnamese exports to Canada

Despite North America’s ongoing supply chain disruptions and a decline in Canada’s imports from major partners amid trade tensions with the US, Viet Nam’s exports to Canada continued to grow strongly in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, reaching nearly 2 billion USD up over 13% year-on-year.
