A cultural and culinary festival marking the arrival of spring and New Year 2026 – the Year of the Horse – was held at the Nguyen Du Lao–Vietnamese Bilingual School in the capital Vientiane, Laos, on January 30.

President Luong Cuong held a working session with the Presidential Office on the implementation of tasks for organising the Lunar New Year Festival of the Horse 2026 at the Presidential Palace on the morning of January 27. The working session was attended by Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Vice President.
