From March 1, 2026, each real estate asset, including individual houses, apartment units and products within property development projects, will be assigned a unique digital ID code. The regulation is stipulated in Government Decree No. 357 on the construction and management of the housing and real estate market information system and database.

Viet Nam’s real estate market is demonstrating its increasingly major and important role, drawing special attention from the people, investors, and policymakers.

Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Vice President of the Viet Nam Real Estate Association shared with Nhan Dan Newspaper that, on the basis of a thriving economy, the Vietnamese real estate market has continued to record positive growth in terms of supply, transaction volume, and selling prices.

The PM highlighted the social housing policy as a humanitarian initiative of the Party and State, noting that it helps support market regulation and growth, ensure political stability, and promote social welfare and well-being for the people.

In the context of a volatile global economy, Viet Nam has emerged as a relatively bright spot in the region thanks to its stable macroeconomic foundation, long-term growth potential, and consistent open-door policy.

Priority should continue to be given to maintaining macroeconomic stability , controlling inflation, spurring growth and ensuring major balances of the economy, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said at the Government’s February meeting on March 3 in Hanoi.
