The year 2025 marked a pivotal juncture in affairs related to overseas Vietnamese, concluding the 2021–2025 period while laying comprehensive groundwork in terms of mindset, institutions and resources to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress. In the country’s development vision toward 2045, the overseas Vietnamese community has been positioned as a strategic companion in national development.
Nhan Dan Newspaper respectfully introduces an article by Tran Thanh Man, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Assembly and Chairman of the National Assembly, titled “The National Assembly is determined to institutionalise the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress – swiftly putting the Party’s guidelines into practice.”
At its closing session on the afternoon of January 23, the 14th National Party Congress unanimously adopted its Resolution, reaffirming core assessments of the implementation of the 13th Congress Resolution, the review of key theoretical and practical issues arising from 40 years of socialist-oriented renewal in Viet Nam, and the 15-year enforcement of the Party Charter (2011–2025), as presented in documents submitted by the 13th Party Central Committee.
On January 7, 2026, on behalf of the Politburo, General Secretary To Lam signed and promulgated Politburo Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW on the development of Vietnamese culture.
After two days of serious, responsible and effective working under the motto “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Exemplarity – Breakthrough – Development,” the first Congress of the Party Organisation of Central Party Agencies for the 2025–2030 term successfully wrapped up in Ha Noi on September 24.

All public school students, from preschool to high school, will be exempt from tuition fees starting in the 2025–26 academic year, under a resolution signed by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on July 3.
