Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has signed Directive No. 15/CT-TTg launching an emulation movement to successfully implement annual socio-economic development tasks and the 2026–2030 five-year plan in line with the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
The year 2025 marked a pivotal juncture in affairs related to overseas Vietnamese, concluding the 2021–2025 period while laying comprehensive groundwork in terms of mindset, institutions and resources to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress. At its closing session on the afternoon of January 23, the 14th National Party Congress unanimously adopted its Resolution, reaffirming core assessments of the implementation of the 13th Congress Resolution, the review of key theoretical and practical issues arising from 40 years of socialist-oriented renewal in Viet Nam, and the 15-year enforcement of the Party Charter (2011–2025), as presented in documents submitted by the 13th Party Central Committee.
On January 7, 2026, on behalf of the Politburo, General Secretary To Lam signed and promulgated Politburo Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW on the development of Vietnamese culture.
