The Vietnamese Consulate-General in Khon Kaen, in collaboration with Udon Thani Rajabhat University (UDRU), hosted the Viet Nam–Thailand Cultural Festival in Udon Thani province on August 28.
Nearly a century ago, during his journey abroad to seek a path for national salvation, the young Nguyen Ai Quoc lived and carried out revolutionary activities in several localities in Thailand. Located more than 500km northeast of Bangkok, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site has become a revolutionary landmark that preserves memories of his time in Udon Thani Province.
As part of activities celebrating Viet Nam’s National Day in Thailand, on August 28, the Consulate General of Viet Nam in Khon Kaen, in coordination with the Thai–Viet Nam Entrepreneurs Association in Thailand, organised the Viet Nam–Northeastern Thailand Goods Fair at the VT Namnueng Centre, Udon Thani Province, over 500km northeast of Bangkok.
