The short course provided participants with valuable insights on gender equality and leadership through training with prestigious Vietnamese and Australian experts, helping them gain more confidence to take part in the decision-making process in their workplaces.

Learners also had the opportunity to meet inspirational figures, expand their network of relationships, and improve knowledge and awareness of gender equality, as well as leadership skills, contributing to enhancing women’s representation in leadership positions and decision-making at all levels.

‘Women in Leadership Journey’ is a short-term scholarship for Vietnam, funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) within the VAC.

Over its past five editions, the course has empowered and supported over 100 women in leadership roles working in the Vietnamese public sector, contributing to improving the capacity and skills of Vietnam's human resources.
