Video: The aspiration for independence – The Party’s leadership role in the August Revolution of 1945
The August General Uprising in 1945, led by the Communist Party of Viet Nam, ended nearly a century of colonial slavery under French colonialists and Japanese fascists, as well as thousands of years of feudal rule.
A Vietnamese-Russian bilingual book titled “Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh and Russia” was launched in Ha Noi on June 1 alongside a photo exhibition featuring 115 images of President Ho Chi Minh's activities at the Presidential Palace.
