With the theme “Tradition Converges – Integration Expands,” AgroViet 2025 is taking place over five days, from November 12 to 16, aiming to promote cooperation, brand development, and agricultural product marketing, while honouring outstanding agricultural, forestry, fishery, OCOP, and specialty products from localities across the country.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre, stated that, in the context of deepening global integration and increasingly complex climate change, the agriculture and environment sector is not only the “pillar” of the national economy but is also rising strongly, affirming Viet Nam’s global position and becoming a pioneer in green and sustainable development.

In 2024, Viet Nam’s agricultural export turnover reached 62 billion USD, with products present in over 200 countries and territories. The export value of Viet Nam’s agricultural, forestry, and fishery products is expected to hit a record 70 billion USD, the highest figure ever.

Tien emphasised that AgroViet 2025 is one of the key solutions to expand markets, stimulate domestic consumption, and connect supply and demand, contributing to the sector’s goals of sustainable development and international integration.

According to the organisers, this year’s exhibition gathers more than 100 domestic and international enterprises, with over 200 standard booths and 500 square metres of display space.

The international pavilion features 79 booths from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan (China), and Australia; while the domestic section brings together 24 provinces and cities nationwide, including Thanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Bac Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, Dong Nai, Hue, Can Tho, Ha Noi, Hung Yen, Son La, Dien Bien, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Phu Tho, and Lao Cai.

Hundreds of outstanding agricultural products are on display at the fair, including key export items, OCOP products rated three stars and above, geographically indicated products, organic goods, and exemplary rural industries.

Alongside this, numerous agricultural machines, equipment, materials, and processed products from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, and China are exhibited, such as seeders, corn shellers, agricultural dryers, moisture measuring devices, organic fertilisers, high-quality seeds, and greenhouse materials.

Within the framework of the fair, the organisers, in coordination with relevant agencies, will host conferences, seminars, and business networking programmes, as well as an area dedicated to promoting e-commerce applications in agricultural trade. Notably, a livestream sales campaign on social media platforms, jointly organised with TikTok Vietnam, will support enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP producers in promoting and introducing their products, thereby helping Vietnamese agricultural goods reach consumers more directly in the digital era.

AgroViet 2025 is a meaningful event celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Viet Nam’s Agriculture and Environment Sector (November 14, 1945–2025) and the First Patriotic Emulation Congress of the sector, contributing to spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity towards a green, modern, and globally integrated agriculture.
