Vietnam extends sympathy to Japan over losses caused by heavy rains
Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son on July 7 sent a message of sympathy to his Japanese counterpart Motegi Toshimitsu over human and property losses caused by heavy rains in the city of Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, last weekend.

Politburo member and Permanent member of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and a high-ranking CPV delegation on August 24 paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the statue and memorial plaque dedicated to the late leader within the campus of the Asian Civilisations Museum in Singapore.
