Vietnam-ROK consultancy and technology solution centre inaugurated

An inauguration ceremony for the Vietnam-Republic of Korea Consultancy and Technology Solution Centre (VITASK) was held in Hanoi on December 11.

The event was jointly organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic Korea.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh said that supporting industries are being paid special attention by the Government.

In order to achieve the major goals set out in Resolution 115 of the Government on promoting the development of supporting industries, it is very important and necessary to improve the technological capacity and standard of supporting enterprises, he added.

He expressed his thanks to the ROK Government for supporting Vietnam’s production capacity, especially in the transfer of supporting industrial technology to Vietnamese firms, and supporting Vietnam in designing, manufacturing and testing supporting industrial products.

For his part, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Sung Yun-mo said the ROK will always accompany Vietnam to operate VITASK in an effective manner, thus bringing high value to the business communities of the two countries.
