Organised by the Ha Noi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism from October 9 to 11, the festival attracted around 60,000 visits and brought together 60 businesses and organisations across 70 exhibition and experience booths in an area of approximately 4,500 square metres.

Hundreds of beverage products were showcased, including drinks made from young green rice, herbal teas and fruit wines. Some stalls sold out on the opening day and had to replenish their stocks to meet demand.

The festival featured four themed areas dedicated to beer and wine, tea, coffee, and fruit-based and innovative beverages. Visitors also enjoyed cultural performances, drink-making demonstrations, interactive workshops and exchanges with artisans.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Tran Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the event had prioritised products that were clean, healthy and environmentally friendly. Visitors could sample organic and low-sugar drinks, herbal beverages and natural fruit juices, many presented in environmentally friendly packaging.

Organisers also encouraged exhibitors to use natural ingredients and reduce or replace single-use plastics. The strong public response reflected growing interest in sustainable consumption and health-conscious products, Hieu said.

Beyond showcasing beverages, the festival highlighted Ha Noi’s cultural identity through its distinctive drinking traditions, from West Lake lotus tea and the aroma of young green rice to the city’s signature egg coffee. These experiences offered visitors an opportunity to discover the capital’s heritage while exploring new creative products.

Hieu said the festival helped connect tradition with innovation, culture with tourism, and Ha Noi with other localities and international visitors. Organisers expressed hope that it would become an annual cultural and tourism event, strengthening the capital’s tourism brand.
