The 2026 Ha Noi Beverages Festival is a distinctive tourism promotion event for the city, aiming to harness, promote, and celebrate the cultural values associated with beverage consumption while fostering a diverse range of tourism products.
The festival also highlighted emerging trends in the food, beverages, restaurant, and hospitality sectors, while encouraging green consumption, health safety, and sustainable development.
The event is taking place from October 9 to 11, 2026, at Astronomy Park (Duong Noi Ward, Ha Noi), covering an area of approximately 4,500 square metres and featuring 60 enterprises across 70 booths and experiential zones.
Organised as an open-concept event that combines product displays, hands-on experiences, social interaction, and networking, the festival features four thematic zones: Beer & Spirits; Tea; Coffee; and Fruit Juices & Innovative Beverages.
Here, residents and visitors have the opportunity to discover, enjoy, and experience a wide range of beverages—from traditional drinks and Hanoi specialties to regional favorites, as well as innovative and health-conscious options that align with green and sustainable consumption trends.
Speaking at the event, Pham Tuan Long, Director of the Ha Noi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated that this festival is expected to continue honouring craft villages, artisans, and reputable brands; encouraging creative ideas and new business models that blend traditional culture with technology; and guiding consumers toward green, clean, and safe products—including those with eco-friendly packaging—while promoting civilised and responsible beverage consumption.
This is also a way for Ha Noi to affirm the image of a dynamic, creative, elegant, culturally rich, and hospitable city, and to gradually establish the festival as a signature annual event for the city’s culture, sports, and tourism sector, he added.
The festival featured a wide range of cultural, artistic, and experiential activities, including opening and closing ceremonies, music and dance performances, folk games, game shows, interactive workshops, and mixology demonstrations held on the main stage and at exhibitor booths.
In addition to experiential activities, the festival served as a platform to update attendees on the latest trends in the food, beverages, restaurant, and hospitality sectors. It showcased the application of artificial intelligence to enhance customer experiences and highlights the development of new F&B models that integrate traditional cultural values with technology.
These efforts contributed to strengthening the connection between the beverage industry and tourism, gradually fostering the creation of products and services that meet the evolving needs of visitors. The festival grounds were adorned with welcoming arches, decorative displays, photo zones, and unique experiential areas.
These featured blend imagery of Ha Noi and beverage culture with modern design elements, creating a vibrant atmosphere that appeals to locals and tourists alike—particularly the younger generation.
The products showcased at the event promote green, health-conscious consumption trends, such as organic, low-sugar, and herbal beverages, as well as eco-friendly items. Participating businesses and organizations are encouraged to minimise plastic waste and adopt practices that align with the goal of developing green, sustainable tourism.
Through the festival’s activities, the organisers aimed to promote responsible consumption and a culture of mindful enjoyment, encouraging civilised and polite drinking habits—such as refraining from pressuring others to consume alcohol.
Simultaneously, the event spread key messages like “Don’t drink and drive” and “No alcohol for those under 18”, helping to raise awareness about safety for both individuals and the community.
With the collaboration of municipal departments and agencies, the Duong Noi Ward People’s Committee, the Ha Noi Tourism Association, the Ha Noi Professional Chefs Association, and various businesses and organisations from Ha Noi and across the country, the 2026 Ha Noi Beverages Festival served as more than just a venue for tasting and experiencing drinks.
It is a journey connecting tradition with innovation, culture with tourism, Ha Noi with other localities, and Vietnam with international friends. Through every product, story, and experience, the festival helped promote the image of Ha Noi as a destination rich in identity—creative, welcoming, and appealing to both domestic and international visitors.
