The five-day event features five teams including China, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China) and Macau (China), competing in a round robin format for three finals slots awarded to top three scorers.
Vietnam plans to take part in the 2013 AFF Futsal Championship hosted in Bangkok on October 19-27, which also serves as the ASEAN Zone’s qualification for the 2014 AFC Futsal Championship.
The top three finishers at the regional tournament will book their place in next year’s continental finals.
