At the 2018 FACIM (Fair Agriculture, Commercial and Industrial of Mozambique) trade show, which took place from August 27 to September 2 in Mozambique’s capital city of Maputo, the embassy introduced typical Vietnamese agricultural products such as tea, coffee and rice as well as interior décor products.
Activities were also held to promote Vietnam’s land, people, culture and tourism to Malagasy people.
Meanwhile, visitors to the Agriculture International Fair (AIF) Madagascar, which was held from September 13 to 16, showed great interest in Vietnam’s top export products including rice and coffee, as well as confectionary, and consumer goods thanks to their quality, price and design.
Vietnamese booths at the two events attracted a lot of attention from businesses of the host countries, who sought cooperation and experience sharing in the production and processing of agricultural products and consumer goods.
Representatives from the Vietnamese embassy, Honorary Consulate, and businesses provided visitors with information on the production, packaging and processing of Vietnamese agricultural products as well as current procedures for import-export activities.
