Facing the Korabelka team from Russia, which had superior height, physical strength, and technical skills, the Vietnamese team only managed a close contest in the first set, narrowly losing 27-29.
In the second set, as their stamina waned, the Russian team capitalised on their height advantage to effectively attack from both wings and the centre of the net, leading to a 15-25 defeat for the Vietnamese players.
In the third set, the Russian team continued to showcase their superiority, frequently leading by a wide margin and winning 25-15, securing a 3-0 overall victory and the championship title.

Although the Vietnamese team could not claim the championship, the tournament provided valuable experience, especially for the younger players, who gained important lessons in both tactics and playing techniques.
