Specifically, High-altitude fireworks will be displayed at two venues including the Saigon River Tunnel entrance (Thu Duc City) and the Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial Temple (Cu Chi District).
Additionally, low-altitude fireworks will be launched at several locations in Thu Duc City, including Thao Dien Urban Area, Saigon River area near Rach Chiec Bridge, and Ben Noc Memorial Temple.
The 12 remaining points for lower-range fireworks will be located across Nha Be District, District 11, Binh Chanh District, Cu Chi District, Can Gio District, District 7, District 12, Hoc Mon District and District 8.

The city will also host a Lunar New Year's Eve celebration with a 3D lighting show projected onto the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building.
An exhibition celebrating the Lunar New Year 2025 will be held at Lam Son Park (opposite the City Opera House), Dong Khoi Street (in front of the City Department of Culture and Sports; opposite Chi Lang Park), and Pasteur-Ly Tu Trong Street from January 25 to February 9. On January 18, a gathering of overseas Vietnamese will take place to welcome the 2025 Lunar New Year.
The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee will organise a ceremony on January 24 to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang at the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Ton Duc Thang Museum, and the Ho Chi Minh Statue Park. A tribute ceremony will also be held at the City Cemetery.
After that, attendees will participate in the ceremony of offering "Banh Tet" (round glutinous rice cake) to the Hung Kings and General Nguyen Huu Canh.

A traditional Tet flower market will be held from January 14 to 28 in District 8. A Spring Flower Festival will also take place from January 26 to February 2 at Tao Dan Park.
Ho Chi Minh City will also organise the Nguyen Hue Flower Street Festival, the Book Street Festival, the Banh Tet Festival.
Additionally, the 2025 Lunar New Year Book Street Festival along Le Loi Street in District 1 from January 27 to February 2 is expected to attract a large number of citizens and visitors.
