Prime Minister leaves Hanoi for visits to Poland, Czech Republic, attends WEF Annual Meeting in Switzerland

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse, and a high-ranking delegation of Vietnam left Hanoi on January 15 morning for official visits to Poland and the Czech Republic as well as attend the 55th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos and engage in bilateral meetings in Switzerland.

Taking place from January 15 to 23, these activities are made at the invitations of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, and WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab.

The Vietnamese delegation includes Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen; Minister, Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son; Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung; Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien; Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat; Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son; Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung; Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan; Chairman of the Committee for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises Nguyen Hoang Anh; Deputy Minister of National Defence Le Huy Vinh; Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Van Tuyen; Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission Hoang Van Tra.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Duong Hoai Nam, Vietnamese Ambassador to Switzerland Phung The Long and Ambassador Mai Phan Dung, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations (UN), World Trade Organisation, and other international organisations in Geneva, joined the delegation.
