VN-Index continues to advance

On August 7, Vietnam’s benchmark VN-Index rose 1.26% to 1241.42 points.

Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) increased by 14.89% to 26.53 trillion VND (1.12 billion USD).

The VN-30 basket, comprising the 30 largest capped stocks, saw 28 tickers gain.

Foreign investors were net sellers to the tune of 393.57 billion VND.

The HNX-Index at the Hanoi Stock Exchange, where mid and small-caps list, was up 1.35%, while the UPCoM-Index at the Unlisted Public Companies Market was up by 0.92%.
