According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, under the Ministry of Finance, in February 2025, Vietnam exported 14,331 tonnes of pepper, earning 97.3 million USD, up 10.7% in volume and 11% in value compared to the previous month.

During the first two months of 2025, Vietnamese enterprises exported 27,416 tonnes of pepper, generating revenue of 184.9 million VND (approximately 4.7 trillion VND). Although export volume declined by 11.6%, the total value jumped 48.5% year-over-year, thanks to the average export price of 6,746 USD per tonne.

The US remains Vietnam's largest pepper market, with an export value of nearly 44.9 million USD, down 32% in volume but up 23% in value.

Germany and India followed, with 19.2 million USD and 12.4 million USD in export value, respectively. Notably, China’s import volume soared by 86.6% compared to the same period in 2024.
