Meanwhile, REACH and JPMorgan also opened the 52nd vocational training course within the framework of cooperation between the two sides, with the aim to support disadvantaged youth in Hanoi, Hai Duong and Da Nang.
Within the framework of the cooperation programme, REACH will organise a graphic arts training programme for disadvantaged youth, helping them to access the field of image design, which is in high demand today.
Students are not only provided with training in professional skills such as graphic design, photo editing and 3D graphic design, but also learn soft skills to help them adapt to working conditions after the pandemic. After graduation, students will receive career counselling and job search assistance.
Since 2014, the cooperation program between REACH and J.P.Morgan has supported 2,171 disadvantaged young people in training fields such as web and graphic design and sales and marketing.
It can be seen that the continuation of cooperation between the two sides at this time is positive and timely because young people in Vietnam are still being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Phan Bich Van, Representative of J.P. Morgan in Vietnam, said: “Education is one of the most powerful levers to promote a more just society. Through our partnership with REACH Vietnam, we hope to give more young people the opportunity to access basic vocational skills and help them succeed in the future.”
