* Cambodia called on Thailand to immediately cease military actions against Cambodia and its civilian infrastructure, Cambodian Minister of Information Neth Pheaktra said on Saturday.

* Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said in a social media post on Saturday that his country will continue its military operations until Thailand's territory and people are no longer under threat.

* U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday on social media that Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to cease all shooting effective Friday evening.

* Thailand's caretaker Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said they held separate phone talks with U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday regarding their border conflict. On the same day, Trump posted on social media that the two leaders had agreed to a ceasefire effective Friday evening.

* The number of Cambodian evacuees from the ongoing border fighting with Thailand has risen to more than 300,000 as of Friday afternoon, the Cambodian Ministry of Interior said in a press release. Nearly 90,000 families with over 300,000 people had fled their homes near the Thai border for safe shelters, the press release said.

* Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos on Thursday said he was ready to work with China to manage differences and enhance cooperation. He made the remarks when meeting China's newly appointed ambassador to the Philippines, Jing Quan, during a presentation of credentials ceremony at Malacanan, the presidential palace.

* Participants from both sides of the bilateral training exercise between the Chinese and Singaporean militaries have been conducting mixed-unit joint drills focused on close-quarters battle (CQB).

* The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Friday held a welcome ceremony for the 528th Regiment of Engineers of the Korean People's Army, which returned from the overseas operational area, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Saturday.

* National security advisors of Ukraine, the United States and European countries held a video conference on Friday to discuss a peace plan to end the crisis, Ukraine's top peace negotiator Rustem Umerov said on Telegram.

* The Council of the European Union (EU) on Friday decided to prohibit any transfers of immobilized assets belonging to the central bank of Russia within the bloc back to Russia, citing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

* Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Friday on X that he had visited the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region in eastern Ukraine. During the visit, he met with the Ukrainian troops to mark the Land Forces Day and presented state awards to them.

* The Council of the European Union (EU) on Friday decided to temporarily prohibit any transfers of immobilized assets belonging to the central bank of Russia within the bloc back to Russia, citing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

* Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto on Friday called on NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to stop "fueling war tensions" with remarks he has made about Ukraine. Szijjarto said Rutte's remarks were "irresponsible and dangerous."

* Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday called for a "limited ceasefire" to halt attacks targeting energy and port facilities in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. According to the Turkish presidency, Erdogan made the remarks during a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on the sidelines of an international peace forum in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

* Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has asked U.S. President Donald Trump to suspend an additional 40 percent tariff on Brazilian products as bilateral negotiations continue.

* Riga on Friday hosted a meeting of the prime ministers of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, focusing on regional security and joint infrastructure projects, marking the end of Latvia's 2025 chairmanship of the Baltic Council of Ministers.

* The Security Council on Friday unanimously adopted a resolution on youth, peace and security.
